The Liberty Bell was larger than he expected.  It’s not too late to call it off… Doubts went through Captain Lee’s head as he read the inscription.

“Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants.”

It’s the Fourth of July and security is tighter than ever.  United Republic of America Soldiers patrol every corner; surveillance cameras hover above.  Lee wonders if he should call it off.  Nothing can be aloud to go wrong, yet there are a hundred ways in which it can all fall apart.  At the farewell reception, Lee meets President Conroy, who outlines his vision of the future.  He quotes his great ancestor, Alexander Hamilton, who had called for the states to ‘bound together in a strict union’ and ‘dictate’ the terms of the new world.

Lee’s doubts disappeared.  He thought back to the Liberty Bell inscription… with no more hesitations… the conspiracy would go ahead.
