A Dialogue Concerning The Two Chief World Systems

For the first time in years, Carlos felt totally liberated and at one with the fascinating world of Coyote, in a way that he hadn’t done for a long time.  For too long he fought the Union, always looking over his shoulder, attempting to rid Coyote of a menace who cared little for the well being of its environment.  Even once the war was won and the Union gone, he only found himself visiting other colonies on diplomatic business, when he was expected to attend meetings and committees.

So when the Commanding Officer of The EASS Columbus, Anastasia Tereshkova expressed a desire to see more of Coyote, Carlos was more than happy to organise an expedition.

As part of his environmental program, much of the unexplored areas of Coyote were no fly zones, and all exploring was to be done by boat, just as he had done all those years ago, as the teenager who discovered much of the eastern shores.  His guests from the European Alliance were about to see exactly what frontier life was all about…

Carlos was willing to share the beauty of Coyote with Tereshkova… and apparently she was willing to share a few secrets with him…
