Manuel Castro had came to Coyote as the right hand man of Matriarch Hernandez, Commanding Officer of The WHSS Glorious Destiny, sent by The Western Hemisphere Union, to take control of Coyote.
During the war against the original colonists, Castro found himself missing in action, and was thrown into the Eastern Channel by the survivors of the Union’s failed invasion of Thompson’s Ferry. As a savant, a post human mind forever preserved in a metallic cyborg-like body, Castro never aged, nor did he die, and spent many months forcing his way through the strong currents and muddy bed of the Eastern Channel. Upon re-surfacing, he returned to a world where the Union forces had been forced from Coyote, and his Commanding Officer dead.
Alone in a world where he didn’t belong, Castro accepted an offer from the now President of the Coyote Federation, Carlos Montero, in order to find himself, and find a place where he felt he belonged. He was to accompany Lars Thompson and Marie Montero, and explore the Western territories, for the greater good of the colony.
It was during this time that the three founded the small settlement of Riverport. Castro remained in the town for a short time, but once the remaining members of the Thompson family had joined them, and the settlement grew, Castro suddenly, and gracefully, left Riverport...
